How to get the drill in Everdeep Aurora?

In Everdeep Aurora, the drill is your most crucial tool for traversal. You’ll need a drill before you can dig down into the world.

To get the drill, go left from where you start (near the telescope) and talk to the frog Ribbert.

Everdeep Aurora walkthrough

After conversing with him, you’ll get his spare drill, which you can use to start digging downwards.

How to save the game in Everdeep Aurora?

Everdeep Aurora does not have an auto-save functionality (at least at launch), so if you quit the game without saving, you will lose progress.

To save progress in the game, find a tent like the one in the screenshot below. If you can save your game, it will have a floppy disk icon rotating above it.

Interact with the tent to save your game.

How to recharge your drill in Everdeep Aurora?

In Everdeep Aurora, you will drain your drill as you keep using it. To recharge it, you must look for the Drill Recharger machine and hold down the interact button on it.

Note that recharging your drill will consume Small Duracite ore. This is the tiny red crystals you can find embedded in stone as you explore the world. Collect as many of these as you can.

Check the screenshot below for an example of a Drill Recharger.

How to upgrade your drill to Level 2 in Everdeep Aurora?

When you initially get the drill, it is at Level 1. To upgrade it to Level 2, first look for Remulus the Blacksmith (he is located not far from the surface).

How to get the Rusty Key in Everdeep Aurora?

First, you need to find the workroom. To the left of it, you’ll find a hooded rat.

Once you encounter the rat, go on top of the workroom and then all the way to the right. Drill the rock blocking the entrance hatch, and then enter the workroom.

Once you find the Duracite Gem inside, return to the rat and provide them the gem. You’ll get the Rusty Key in return.

How to get Illyrian and Cociboltite ore in Everdeep Aurora?

You can find Illyrian and Cociboltite ore as large blocks while exploring the world. Illyrian ore is triangular, while Cociboltite ore is roughly round.

To acquire it, dig the block and then interact with the drop.

You can use Illyrian and Cociboltite ore to upgrade your drill after you have upgraded it to Level 2.

How to find the aristocrat Beeba?

The aristocrat Beeba’s mansion is located a little down and right from the blacksmith Remulus.

Enter and talk to Beeba and she’ll promise to help you if you can acquire a bouquet for her.

How to find a bouquet for Beeba?

First, you need to find the Garden. This is located down from the workroom where you found the rat.

Talk to Beeba’s goddaughter Aster here to get a bottle.

Return to the stream where you re-encountered Ribbert and acquired the map, and interact with the spring to fill the bottle up.

Return to Aster in the Garden and talk to her to return the bottle to her.

You will get a bouquet in return, which you can take to Beeba.
