Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a completely revamped version of these old skateboarding games that the older gamers out there have probably played at one point, since it used to be a huge series. There are a whole lot of tasks that you can finish in the game, and they require you to do very specific tricks in certain areas. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get one such objective done in no time at all!
How to Invert High Wires Cruise Ship Goals in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake
There are plenty of tasks to complete throughout the different maps in this reimagined version of the old Tony Hawk games. Among them is the one where you have to invert the high wires while you are in the cruise ship area of the game.
While you are on the cruise ship, you are probably wondering how the hell you are supposed to invert the high wires. If you can get past the vague objective, it is actually fairly simple to complete.
The high wires are the ones hanging above the pool in the middle of the ship. It is the pair of cables with red and black decorations stuck to them. Since they are over the pool, your first task is to drain the pool by grinding on the nearby pipe with the large valve on it. This will get rid of all the water.
Once the pool is clear, all you have to do from here on out is to keep skating on the pool itself to gain more height and speed. Eventually, you will fly high enough into the air to reach the wires up above. But, before you do any of that, make sure that you know how to do an invert.
By default, the input should be left + triangle, or whichever equivalent of the latter button on your controller. You have to time this properly, as there is a chance that your character will simply grind on the wire instead of trying to do an invert.
Also, make sure that your special meter is high enough to do it. If you are unsure, just fill it up completely first, which should happen anyway while you are trying to gain more height.

Some players recommend holding triangle or the equivalent button to perform an invert as soon as their character touches the high wire. If you can’t seem to get it done, you could try holding instead of timing the inputs precisely.
Once you do an invert on the high wire and let go, you should see that the task in question has been completed. It will pop up in your screen just like any other ones you have done up to this point. And that is pretty much all there is to this one.

This one requires a little more work compared to the high wire challenge of the cruise ship, which is more of just a test of patience and timing.
